Celebrate world Music day this evening with "Indian and Western instruments"

'Sitar' by Suhit Rakshit (Rag Jaunpuri & Dhune) (30mins). 'Harmonica Lovers of Hyderabad' (HaLoH) (6 members of the group) Who will play with tracks. 'Sitar' by Ramprapanna Bhattacharya (Rag Behag & Dhune/Kirtan) Accompanied by Suhit and Ramprapanna.

Suhit Rakshit, student of Delhi Public School, Hyderabad started his music lessons in Western Classical Piano in Japan. At five he was introduced to Hindustan Classical music in Sitar under the guidance of Late Ms. Sarada Mookherjee of Bishnupur gharana.

Harmonica Lovers of Hyderabad (HaLoH) is an organization, who believe on ‘Music is a language of God’. Members of the club meet every Sunday at Indira Park. HaLoH was established in 2009.

Ramprapanna Bhattacharya is a next generation Sitar virtuoso, teacher and performer. He is representative of the younger generation of the famous Etawah Gharana. Having excellent musical career, Ramprapanna is an Electronics & Communication Engineer.
