Bishnu Prasad Rabha was a popular socialist activist from Assam, well known for his literary and cultural contributions. As an advocate of peoples' cultural movement, he drew heavily from different genres of classical and folk cultural traditions. In his home state, people affectionately called him Kala Guru 'the master of the arts'. Assamese people staying across globe commemmorate 20th June his death anniversary as a “Rabha Divas”.

Continuing the tradition alive the greater Hyderabad community of Assam staying in and around Hyderabad celeb are organizing a Literary and Cultural contributions to greater assamese community at 3pm on Sunday 21st June.

The main objective of the workshop to make familiar of “Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha’ works to youner generation in particular of Assamese people and in general to all.
