Join Cleo, portrayed by Marleen Lohse, on an enchanting journey through Berlin's vibrant streets, where every paving stone holds a hidden treasure. In the first twelve minutes of the film, director Erik Schmitt breaks down Cleo’s backstory and mixes her fate with Berlin's contemporary history in shimmering images. Following the loss of her father, Cleo relinquished her childhood dreams of treasure hunting until the arrival of Paul, played by Jeremy Mockridge, a bigger dreamer with a treasure map rumoured to unlock the secrets of the Sass brothers - iconic Berlin safe-crackers from the Weimar Republic era, said to have stolen a mystical clock capable of reversing time itself.

Embark on a whimsical treasure hunt through Berlin as Cleo encounters iconic personalities from the past, offering sage advice amidst the city's bustling streets. From Marlene Dietrich to Heinrich Schliemann and even the brilliant Albert Einstein, Cleo's journey is infused with humor, eccentric characters, and a profound love for Berlin's rich history. Director Erik Schmitt's vision for "Cleo" is an ode to the resilient spirit of Berlin, blending tragedy with whimsy in a unique and captivating city fairy tale.
