Best Hands India
Hyderabad based NGO, Best Hands India is a unique Arts and Crafts NGO which aims to bring in exquisite new-age products in contemporary designs using the dexterity and age-old skills of traditional Indian craftsmen. Best Hands India has been set up with the aim to give something back to society in the form of arts and crafts. Best Hands India is an organisation that provides a platform to promote Indian handicrafts through the participation of underprivileged craftsmen (especially crafts women), buyers, crafts-lovers and other stakeholders. Products are sourced directly from artisans, self-help groups, and NGOs thereby reducing the number of channels/intermediaries. We have conducted 4-5 exhibitions in different parts of Hyderabad and sponsored a few artisan groups are apartment complexes to help generate sales. We work with SERP to identify and motivate struggling rural artisans. We have also conducted workshops on traditional arts and craft forms.
