Arijit Sanyal, a Kolkata-based poet, is publishing his second book of poems “ধোঁয়াচ্ছে ও অন্যান্য অক্ষরচিহ্ন” on January 26, 2026 in the Kolkata Book Fair. His first book of poems ধোঁয়াচ্ছে” was published in 2016.

Writing is Arijit’s hobby: his day job is working in marketing and sales. He has worked in multiple national and multinational organisations and has travelled all over the country. His poems reflect both a modern mindset and the traditions of Bengali culture.
