“AI + Design: Human Judgment in Automated Systems.”
The idea is to host a practitioner-led conversation about what it actually means to design with AI — beyond the hype. The discussion would explore questions such as when designers should trust AI outputs, when human judgment should override them, and how accountability works in AI-assisted products.
The format would be simple and discussion-oriented:
• 2 invited speakers from the local design/technology community
• short opening perspectives (10–15 minutes each)
• followed by an open discussion with the audience
The event would be free and open to all, but we would require online sign-up to keep the group to around 20–30 participants, allowing for a more meaningful conversation.

My name is Iryna. I’m currently a student at Minerva University(USA) and am spending this semester in Hyderabad. Alongside my studies, I serve as the ambassador for the Projector Global Community - a global network of designers, product managers, and technologists founded by Projector Institute.
During my time here, I’ve been exploring ways to bring together people working at the intersection of design and technology for thoughtful, small-scale conversations. Lamakaan’s spirit as an open, democratic cultural space feels like a perfect environment for this kind of gathering.
