Our very first open mic storytelling session is here! Share a story - any story - with us. It could be about that time, when you bunked a class or that time when you finally turned up; that time when you were swindled in chor bazaar or the time someone caught you smoking; it could be an out and out exaggerated version of the real life experience, and it could be a completely made up fictional story. So long as you're ready to tell us, we're ready to listen!

We have only two conditions. NO READING, NO CHEATING! You must TELL us the story you want to share with us. You cannot, absolutely cannot read it out of somewhere. Even more importantly, you cannot, can not, CAN NOT take someone else's story and call it your own. Stories must be entirely based on personal experience and original thought. Go ahead and use whatever language you will! Just make sure all of us can understand what you're saying. Translate, explain, enact. In our last session, we had participants tell stories in Hindi, English and even Bhojpuri! Try not to take more than five minutes at the mic; there are others who want to share their experiences too.

Join us for an hour long session of stories at the Lamakaan, on Saturday, 1st March at 4:00 pm. We'll be waiting for you at the main gate! See you!
