Grass Roots Action & Information Network - (GRAIN) is a society promoted in 2012 for addressing 2 major development challenges confronting the Muslim Community:

•Inability to access government programmes and schemes meant for the development and empowerment of the community. •Inability of large sections of the community engaged in the unorganized sector to access key financial services from banks and insurance agencies, thus enhancing their vulnerability to exploitation by money lenders and informal financial sector – chit funds, saving schemes etc.

GRAIN proposes to conduct its monthly fund raising event for an invited audience. A presentation on GRAIN will be made by its Core Team and funds solicited to support its programmes
