International Women’s Film Festival of Hyderabad is being organized in Hyderabad on 7th, 8th and 9th March, 2014, with an aim to highlight women and gender related issues through films. The festival seeks to screen unconventional and hard-hitting films and documentaries, and thus provide a platform to the people of the city for discourse and discussion on the issues of women, gender and feminism like IDENTITY DISCRIMINATION VIOLENCE SEXUALITY EMPOWERMENT IWFF’s mission is to entertain, inform, inspire, encourage and educate audiences to the the issues affecting women through film screenings and discussions. We honor those artists and film makers who, through their creative work, actively increase awareness, provide multiple viewpoints, address complex social issues, and inspire audiences through their cinema and art.
