We believe togetherness is a celebration & festival of thoughts, a procession of ideas, a fusion of diverse culture and knowledge where inequality meets equality, Sorrow meets happiness, tears meets laughter, where human meets human.
A work of art extends beyond its time, in the stories passed along after it is long gone. “The Confluence”, events conceptualized by THE ART KOMMUNE began as a story. Events like art shows, retrospectives, individual expositions, collective exhibitions or survey shows enthrall and present works of art under the brand name of Confluence…an amalgam of feelings, intentions, contents and methods of various artists. It is a common platform to showcase how each work connects, unsettles and bridges in some way.

International Women’s Film Festival of Hyderabad is being organized in Hyderabad on 7th, 8th and 9th March, 2014, with an aim to highlight women and gender related issues through films.
The festival seeks to screen unconventional and hard-hitting films and documentaries, and thus provide a platform to the people of the city for discourse and discussion on the issues of women, gender and feminism like

IWFF’s mission is to entertain, inform, inspire, encourage and educate audiences to the the issues affecting women through film screenings and discussions. We honor those artists and film makers who, through their creative work, actively increase awareness, provide multiple viewpoints, address complex social issues, and inspire audiences through their cinema and art.
