The next installment in our conversation sessions between scientists and the general public is titled "After the Higgs" and addresses the science surrounding the Higgs Boson, the subject of the 2013 Nobel prize in Physics. We will have a short 20 minute talk by our guest scientist, after which the audience is invited to engage in an informal, free-flowing discussion with the speaker. Interested participants of all ages are welcome. No prior knowledge or expertise is required.

This conversation will feature Prof. Rohini Godbole of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. A theoretical high energy physicist, Prof. Godbole is an internationally recognised expert on supersymmetry and the phenomenology of collider physics. She is also the co-editor of two books featuring the stories of Indian women in science.
