RANGAKALPA Presents KAHANI SANDHYA (Presentation of Two Hindi Short Stories) 1. Yatramukt 2. Brahmarakshas ka Shishya Yatramukt: (Duration: 30 mnts.) Yatamukt is a famous story of renowned Hindi writer Raji Seth. This is the story of an old man who works at his master’s old traditional mansion from his childhood. Though not a slave, his freedom is severely constrained by his servitude. The story takes an interesting turn with his son Kishna, who comes to live with him after the death of his mother. Kishna is laborious and bright in study, but he is constantly harassed by the Chote-malik (Master’s son). Kishna disapproves the undignified life of his father and pursues him to forsake the disgressful life that is demeaning to human spirit.
