Communities around the world have used the wonderful act of singing to bring people together, create positive energy and boost their morale. The Hyderabad Western Music Foundation brings you bi-monthly sessions of Community singing. The motivation is to feel each other’s energy and understand what it is like to sing with a room full of people. Participants are expected to have a basic interest in learning songs from all over the world in different languages and historical contexts! For this reason, we have set the minimum age limit at 12 years. So, if you love singing and revel in the sheer joy of music, this is the place to be! This week’s session is based on songs from the world of film and musicals - such as Fiddler on the Roof, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Singin’ in the Rain etc. This time round we even have an instrumental accompaniment in place to enhance your singing experience!
