Ben J Anthrayose is a budding artist who nurtured keen interest in painting from his very childhood. He holds an MA in English Studies from the Central University of Tamil Nadu and he is currently pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in the Teaching of English at the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. He won several prizes in national, state, university level competitions which include First prize in spot painting competition at Glory Fest 2013(National level interuniversity cultural fest) Puri, Odisha. His first inspiration and mentor in artistic career is Artist Samuel, a renowned artist who lives in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He has been conducting exhibitions at universities which include ‘Karuppacha; Untold History of Kerala’ and ‘Hues of Defiance Painting exhibition’ that were recently conducted at the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad.
