On Jiddu Krishna Murthy's birth anniversary join us for a screening of his philosophy told in a wonderful narrative of Dance and Music.

We live in an insane and complex world. Our life in this world is filled with conflict, suffering and enormous problems. There is so much confusion and violence everywhere in this world. The world has become so chaotic and dangerous. Human beings have become completely helpless, indifferent and irresponsible. The external world is the result of our inner chaotic state. We have created this chaotic world. If we are able examine the workings of our own minds and see and understand the confusion within us, there is no doubt that we will be able to discover the cause of the external chaos within our own minds. But is it enough to only blame ourselves? Is there a way out? Is there a way of redeeming ourselves and the world at large? Essence of Life explores these deeper existential issues through different dance forms, articulating that the cause and here its our focus to make each individual to understand once own mind and thruogh this understanding be complexly free from once problems .In each of these dance farms in the script we highlighted the solution to our fundamental human problems. With an emphasis that you can be you own guru and find a permanent solution to your own problems. we assure you that if you grasp this with an open mind you will be the happiest human being.

"The essence of goodness is a mind that is not in conflict. Examine it, look at it. Goodness cannot flower through another, through a religious figure, through dogma, through belief, it can only flower in the soil of total attention in which there is no authority. You are following all this? Is this all too complex? And goodness implies great responsibility. You cannot be good and allow wars to take place. So a man that is really good is totally responsible for all his life. – Krishnamurti, This Light in Oneself".
