Since 1969, the Young Orators Club of Secunderabad has become as much a part of the twin cities' legacy as are the Qutub Shahi tombs. As an oratory club, we speak and operate by the spirit of our motto- Cogitas Veritas. At YOCS, we believe in diversity of ideas and exploring all the rooms as well as nooks of the mansion, that is, human ideas. We meet every Saturday at YMCA at 5.30. So whether it is art, philosophy, logic, literature, history, science or technology that you have a passion for, come discover the world with us. Come discover yourself! A typical YOCS session goes on for 3 hours and encompasses an art or book review, a minor and a major. There will be evaluations and judgements for every one of the speeches, so that everyone can be a master of public speaking. YOCS is a place for education, exchange and excitement. We look forward to seeing you at our Lamakaan meet as well as our regular sessions.
