JAAGO STREE!!! A solo art show by Sravanthi Juluri

About the exhibit:

Jaago Stree lends voice to the suffering of women and the girl child. It marks a new line of interpretations for the artist on a subject close to her heart. She expresses her feelings on several issues faced by women and the girl child alike. Through her works she talks about atrocities the women are subjected to like female foeticide, child molestation in addition to dowry deaths and domestic violence.

Her works are very passionate, and leave a deep impact on the audience. Through her works she wishes to lend a voice to the women who suffer in silence by encouraging them to come out of the darkness.

Jaago Stree aims to invoke the “Shakti” in every “Stree”.
