Police and social welfare orgaisations need to work together for attainment of children and women's rights. This collaborative effort has gained more visibility in the state of andhra pradesh with anti trafficking units established in the state with civil society organisations, support centres in the police station for women facing domestic violence being run by women's organisations, child welfare committees playing a crucial role in getting rights for vulnuerable children.
