Kaalpanik presents a night of three short plays.

1) "Aaj Ki Taaza Khabar" by Surender Sahil Verma Directed by Krishna Shukla (Won 5 awards at Dramanon Skits 2015 - Best play, Best Actor Female, Best Actor Male (tie), Best Director Runner Up)

Synopsis : You know you had a great start for the day when your bowel movements didn’t bother you. What if they depend on your daily dose of current affairs and you are not able to find your newspaper? What if it came to your knowledge that it’s your neighbor’s dog’s mischief? Will you still go ahead with the day or take your neighbor to task? Well this gentleman and his wife chose to go with the latter option.

2) "A Costly Affair" by Naren Yadav Directed by Naren Yadav

Synopsis : A couple who are about to get married enter a hotel room and what follows is a bizarre turn of events. Are they ready to take the next step together after what happened in the hotel room forms the crux of the play.

3) "Proposal Tentative" by Raviraj Kulkarni (Finalist in Dramanon Skits 2015) Directed by Raviraj Kulkarni

Synopsis : A Theatre artist is in search of Bride and its getting tough for him due to his profession. The society pressure and demands of girl/ her Family is adding fuel to his frustration, he is been through the different processes traditional and modern (matrimony sites) but no luck. But still have hopes.
