Brief introduction - Be it the U.S. spending Trillions, or the strong growth in spending across the globe; health care is one sector that is buzzing in the startup world.Along with this huge opportunity lies some visible and invisible potholes/hard stops. As more and more early stage startups need mentors, funds and a support ecosystem to overcome these problems and become successful, Startup Saturday Hyderabad October is all set to showcase what the city has for the health care startups.

We discuss the support system available in Hyderabad via the large nationally acclaimed healthcare providers/hospital chains, pharma majors, life sciences research companies to healthcare innovation centres/labs at institutions like Apollo and LVPEI, startups solving the existing problems at grassroots in rural areas, improving the existing healthcare infrastructure with better online/mobile/offline information services or creating a hybrid franchisee model, all the way through to building health care gadgets and diagnostic devices.
