About the Play - How many of us have dealt with imprisonment of some sort inside our own homes? Today, freedom of speech, freedom of thought and freedom of any kind is rare to come by. Hasn`t the world seen some very disturbing parental relationships? The impact of a disturbed childhood is grave. In fact, no one else can understand just how bad it is.
This is the story of four hostel roommates (Anil, Ajay, Sirish and Rakesh), who plan to play a prank on their friend to pull his leg. As they have been friends for a while now, they know each other pretty well. One day, Ajay`s 3 friends plan to tell him tha his father is waiting for him in the room. He is shocked, because his father has never visited him in 3 years. He rushes to the room to meet him and finds only his friends there. This leads to an argument between them, which reveals more than they would like.

UDAAN conducts workshops to train raw talent of any age in Theatre Arts. UDAAN’s efforts to nurture theatre count April Fool (Hindi Play – 6 Shows), Freestyle Gawahi (Hindi Play), Nithalle (Hindi Play – 4 shows), Waat Pahato Premachi (Marathi Play – 2 Shows), Handle With Care (Children’s Production – 1 Show), Saari Raat (Hindi Play – 1 Show), Hatt Teri Kismat (Hindi Play – 3 Shows), Shri Tashi Sau (Marathi Play – 5 Shows), and most recent Ji Jaisi Aap Ki Marzi (Hindi Play – 4 Show).
Planning minimum one new production every month to provide opportunities to upcoming talents of Hyderabad in the field of Acting/ Singing, UDAAN is only flying high with sky is the limit.
