Hyderabad Urban Lab and US Consulate, Hyderabad present James Brainard, the mayor of Carmel, Indiana. In this evening talk, Mayor Brainard narrates his experience of turning around the city of Carmel. His lecture addresses several questions including the issues of infrastructure funding, partnerships between private and government sectors, and utilization of hybrid and bio-fuels driven vehicles in the city. Mayor Brainard argues that the inclusion of adequate educational, cultural and public spaces have led Carmel to adapt to the issues of climate change better.
