Presenting an evening of talk on 'the Culture, History and Social structure of Kakatiya Dynasty' by Durgam Ravinder. Mr. Durgam would like to state few points on the Kakatiya rule. In these 692 years, since the curtains were down on Kakatiya dynasty as Prataparudra was arrested in 1324; so many stories have been in circulation about Kakatiyas. Though, Kakatiyas rule was not that old, much research has not been done and importance not given so far to know the true facts. After the Telangana state is formed, as TSPSC has included Kakatiya history in the curriculum, dialogue about the Kakatiya rule is greater now than ever before.
