Dr.Partha Banerjee is a labor educator and human rights activist based in New York. He will speak about the neoliberal economic policies that are silently colonizing the world, in the name of development and prosperity.

A worldwide onslaught unleashed by multinational corporations, India's one percent, IMF, World Bank, as well as corporate media is driving the vast majority of Indian population up to the brink of disaster. Privatized health care, education and real estate have created an unprecedented gap between the elite and the poor and middle class.Violence is on the rise. Pollution and population and corruption are explosive. Can India survive it all? If so, how?
