Amidst rampant opium cultivation in Eastern Arunachal Pradesh in North-East India, Basamlu Kisikro engages opium growers into shifting to green tea, Tewa Manpoong supports fellow addicts into rehabilitation and Uncle Moosa spreads the joy of reading amongst children.
Production Notes Two years of filming in four schedules has resulted in this film. This started off as a documentary film on Sathyanarayanan Mundayoor, a south INdian residing in Arunachal Pradesh for more than 30 years. Ground realities compelled me to expand the scope of the film to include opium cultivation in the area.
