NISHUMBITA BALLET AND THEATRE GROUP celebrates the art of Theatre. We, at Nishumbita, believe that the whole process of Theatre & Drama as a discipline, works as a therapy to the people involved in it. It is a powerful medium to bring about awareness and change in the society. As part of our new initiative Nishumbita also conducts an annual theatre festival “NATOTSAV” as an Ode to every Indian Playwright highlighting and showcasing their works.
Our passion towards Theatre & Drama takes us further from just being a Ballet and Theatre group producing shows, we also work towards using Drama as a Therapy for Special Needs of Prisoners, Victims of Harassment, Children and Adults with developmental issues, providing Life Skill oriented education for children. We extend our hand to bring in Environmental, Cultural, Social, Physical and Mental Health in the society we live! Our Logo represents Victory… Victory from any kind of bonding.
