Manch Theatre is back with its Series of Comedy Telugu Theatre productions, this time with our Hilarious Rib tickling comedy play, Swamy Kalyanam. Rewritten for Vijayawada’s Sumadhura kalaniketan’s Hasya Natika Potilu 2016. This play will make you laugh to the core with the comic timing of the lover turned Swamyji for the eternal marriage of the Duo tackled by the determined Dad-not-in-law. Manch Theatre was started off as a hobby club at Infosys by few like minded Infoscions interested in theatre at Hyderabad Infosys campus in 2004. We MANCHurians do plays in all languages and without any language like musicals, mime. Manch Theatre have been doing Telugu plays since 2011, from then we have being doing Comedy Plays in the name of series like Sarada Sayanthram and Navvula Muvvalu. We have one of the series on today. In our journey in Telugu theatre we have bagged the second prize at Sumadhura Kala niketan’s Hasya natika potilu, Vijayawada in 2013 with the play “Don’t Worry Be happy” written by Srini Prabala. And we were the finalist performers in 2015, the only young lot with the play “Arangetram” written by Srikanth Banala. Apart from comedy plays having embedding social messages, we do Serious plays as well like Shakti Nelone undhi, Baaba?Paapa? Our Recent Production Gardhabhandam by Tanikella Bharani Garu was very well received by our audience.
