Smt. Rajinimai Chakilam is a classical dancer, choreographer and a teacher in Kuchipudi and Folk dance for the past 25-years. Apart from her Arts &Dance qualifications, she has a scholastic achievement of Master’s degree in Commerce with a Gold medal in Marketing from Kakatiya University, Warangal. She received her dance training from eminent gurus Smt Vempati Nageswari, Dr. Shobha Naidu and Smt. Oleti Rangamani. Apart from being an individual performing artiste she has toured and performed all over India along with her disciples for various ballets like Srinivasa Kalyanam, Veerabhadra Vijayam & Shiva Kalyanam etc. Very recently, she has performed in Naada Neerajanam program at Tirumala Auditorium. Under her tutelage several students have attained acclaim at national events and have many prizes to their name. Due to her passion towards Kuchipudi, she regularly updates her skills and knowledge through constant practice and training. Even now, she is learning the nuances of Kuchipudi dance under the able guidance of Guru Smt. Bala Tripura Sundari, D/o eminent guru Padmabhushan Dr Vempati Chinna Satyam garu. She is also a recipient of Guinness Book of World Records for her participation in Mahabrinda Natyam event during Dec’2012 organized by Silicon Andhra.
