As part of the "Master of The Craft" Series, Independent Film Circle brings to you: an evening of film analysis and discussion on Alfred Hitchcocks masterpiece "39 steps".
The evening will start with a brief introductory presentation on the film, followed by the screening of the film.
After the film screening, the film will be analysed for the craft and techniques employed by the director, and discussion and Q&A.
We invite all film makers, film enthusisasts and Alfred Hitchcock Fans.
Entry free and open to all.

About the Facilitator :
Gopalakrishna studied Communications Management from MICA, Ahmedabad, and started his career as an Assistant Director on the movie “I Am” (2011), directed by Onir. Apart from working on three feature films as an assistant director, He has independently directed several Documentaries, Ad films and short films. His short film 'Sheher-e-Ghazal', based on the Gujarat riots, won him an award for the best director at an international short film festival. Gopal has taught film making as an elective course at Centre for Environment Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad, and NIFT, Gandhinagar and conducted workshops at IIM, Ahmedabad and IIT, Bombay. He is also a trained actor, who acted on stage and screen, and teaches acting for theatre and film.
