Raising the slogan of land rights in response to a brutal attack on Dalit youth in Gujarat, the Una Attached Land Samiti, transformed a moment of protest into a mobilization for justice and concrete rights. At the centre of this remarkable mobilization was a young lawyer and firebrand organizer - Jignesh Mevani.
