Through the verbal space offered by audio visual medium and Ghazal rendition, Dr Manisha Bangar and Mrs Mala Bararia present the journey of Urdu Literary Culture in between the times of its creation in prose and poetry , its achievement of historical preeminence ,its preservation by Urdu lovers through popular genres like "bayaz( notebooks)"takirah's"( anthologies), "mushairas"( poetry recitation sessions), the ustad-shagird tradition, the classical ghazal , AND the contemporary Urdu culture which lies beyond the" patterned classical mushairas" /classical ghazal and finds place in the modern" public space musical mushaira's","pop ghazal", "filmi ghazal trapped in CD and Casatte culture" and ghazal spilling into non Urdu culture domains. In so far as they show an undiminished enthusiasm ,the presenters leave to the modern hearers to decide the current health of the Urdu Literary Culture in general and Urdu Ghazal in particular.

Dr. Manisha Bangar heads Gastroenterology at CARE Hospital and has been written on Urdu poetry, Gender and Minority issues . She has been a guest lecturer in various universities and forums on dispossessed women and youth.
