Sararattir, a play written by Badal Sircar, is a story of a night and three characters - a husband,a wife and an old man. This one is a psychological drama that revolves around the woman and her fantasy world and focuses on the inner conflicts that she faces when she is 28 as the writer very aptly suggests it as the age when a woman wonders about her own life and being. As the play opens up, we see her as a happy wife leading a healthy relationship with a perfect husband.

All is going well till she meets a mysterious old stranger during the couple's vacation in a lonely house on a rainy night, who has his own weird theory about 7. A chance encounter with this man leads them to crossroads of introspection and self realization. One night. One long, sleepless, rainy night. Was it a dream?
