Meet the team behind Global Citizen Year India, and learn about how you might be able to host an extraordinary high school graduate from around the world. Global Citizen Year is an award winning US Based NGO that provides an unique experience for a young high school graduate to have an immersive, experiential learning intentional immersive journey by coming to India for 8 months. While our fellow is here in India we place them with a Host Family, they do an apprenticeship with teach India or voice girls and learn the local language. However, their significant experience is with Host families. Host Families become real families! They become our fellows' Mother and Father, Brother, Sister grandparent etc for 8 months.

This is a particularly enriching experience for families who have young children around the age of 14-20 who gain a sibling and the chance to experience what living with someone from a different culture might be.
