My name is Preetam Venglet. I opened a music school in November 2014 called Μσικολογψ (Musicology) where we teach Guitar, Keyboard and Western Vocals. We conduct one on one music classes at the students homes.
Currently, I also Lead worship, sing and play the Bass guitar / acoustic guitar / keyboard as part of the worship team at Fusion Church, Madhapur.
The following is what I've done in the past:
Organized the St. George’s Church Youth Fellowship, Hyderabad into a choir for 2 programs in 1990 and 1991.
Was the compere at All India Radio (AIR), Hyderabad for the program – ‘Let’s Listen Together’ (1991).
Played the Rhythm guitar in Hyderabad for the rock group – ‘Metal Dux’ (1991).
Won 1st prize for Gospel singing competition (Trio – Male) conducted by ‘The Tabernacles’ – Secunderabad (July 1992).
Won 3rd prize for Gospel singing competition (Duet – Male) conducted by ‘The Tabernacles’ – Secunderabad (July 1992).
Was a part of a choir called the ‘Hyderabad Choral Society’, Hyderabad (1993 – 1995).
Participated in the ‘Fete de la Musique’ organized by the Alliance Francaise – Hyderabad (June 1996).
Won the 2nd prize in the French singing competition at the ‘Festival de la France’ organized by the Alliance Francaise – Hyderabad (Nov 1996).
Organized the St. Mark’s Cathedral Youth Fellowship, Bangalore as a choir for a music program and music competitions (1998 & 2000).
Organized an all male choir called ‘Psalmists’ in the Union Chapel at Vishakapatnam (1999).
Was a back-up vocalist in 2 musicals in Bangalore – ‘The Andrew Lloyd Weber Show’ and ‘The Lion King’ – (1999).
Taught guitar and keyboard to individuals in Hyderabad (2001-2003).
Taught vocals to children at Nasr School for Boys, Hyderabad (2002-2003).
Taught theory and practical music for guitar and keyboard in Southern Asia Bible College, Bangalore (May-June 2003).
Conducted the children's choir for Christmas at Fusion Church (December 2015 and 2016).
