In the movie, Two friends who are attempting to start-up their own photo studio, come across shady dealings and corruption.A corruption that is so manifestly present that the others do not seem to question its existence, but implicitly assume it and use it to serve their own ends. Two protagonist gets involved in the filth of corruption and they try to expose everyone involved but the question remains 'will they survive?'.This tragic-comedy directed by Late Kundan Shah is one of finest movies produced during the New Wave movement in Indian cinema. It was a time of rampant unemployment and the times of the angry young man standing for justice.

One can enjoy it for its comedy but hopefully, the viewers will also see the tragedy beneath the humor.
