" Jab Bhi Aati Hai Teri Yaad " - An evening of captivating ghazals by Mr.Yateesh Acharya , paying tribute to Ghazal King, Mehdi Hasan Sahab

(Yateesh Acharya is an accomplished Ghazal singer, classically trained, proficient in Thumari, Dadra, Mand, Folk and Sufi styles of singing etc. He has been in the field of singing for the last three decades.

He took early lessons in classical music from Pt. Mahendra Dixit, Shri J. S. Hada. He further sharpened his music skill by learning from Pt. Mahesh Chandra Sharma, Ustad Hifzul Kabir (Katani), Ustad Sarwat Hussain Khan (Bhopal), Great Ustad Rahat Ali Khan (Gorakhpur), Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan (Delhi), Ustad Zamir Ahmed Khan (Muradabad), Ustad Hayat Ahmed Khan (Delhi), Late Ustad Ghulam Abbas Khan (Agra) In 1983-84 Yateesh won the top prize in the All-India Begum Akhtar singing challenge and Mehdi Hassan Award 2010

And composed Music for various Ghazal Bhajan Albums, Jingles, and Documentary Films also.

In year 2010 he was chosen to represent India in JORDON Festival that was organized by ministry of culture of Jordan government.
