Sandeep Pandey is one of Indias leading Peace Movement Activist, and has been at the forefront of many struggles in his native state of Uttar Pradesh and across India. Most recently he led a peace march against all odds in Gujarat from Ahmedabad to the Indian border with Pakistan in Kuchh. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California , Berkeley in 1992. He has written extensively in Hindi and English on concepts as wide ranging as Gandhi and Ahimsa to the the Right to Education.
