An evening of Baul & Sufi Music celebration. Each community has its own music. There is one unifying thread between Kabir and Sri Chaitnya; Lalon and bulleh shah; Meera and Khusru - The Mysticism.
Bhaki Varsham or Bhakti Movement is an effort to see the unifying thread by renditions of all different poetry of different prophets of different time and geography at the present time on the stage of Lamakaan.
Lose and Find yourself and help our Indigenous ethnic Musicians with your presence at this evening!
An initiative by Studio E1E.
Entry Free.

Roots, a collective for Holistic Expression
To live in harmony within ourselves, each other and the living earth
- We envision a 3 step processing scheme. As a socially centered urban space, we first invite people to our physical space in the city acquanting them to the spirit and expression of the place. We see this initiation as a proper segue into our next destination, an acre on the outskirts of the city which will serve as a sort of halfway home. Proposed Projects for a permaculture design with earthship will be implemented at this space . From this location we intend to head northward towards a full scale rural ecovillage that will serve as the final destination. We intend on a circuit being formed between these three elements with cycle trips and vans fueled with alternative energy shuttling to and fro while embodying a vision based on something akin to the Transition Town model and GEN. We see all places as accessible spaces for work, play and collaboration. We would like to particularly emphasize the theme of coworking facilities given the mobility of the modern workspace.
- Inspired by the thoughts of Michael Bauwen from the P2P foundation (Evolving towards a partner state), the crux of our project will include a 3 prong model enabled by the generation of a Community Commons, an entrepreneurial coalition and a for-benefit institution. The main thrust of our effort will be social in orientation.
