Disha Centre for Social Justice cordially invites you to M.A.Vanaja 3rd memorial lecture by Dr.Galab, Director, CESS on Child Rights and their implementation to remember one of the torch-bearers for Women and human rights.

Known to her friends as ‘Vanaa’ lived an exemplary life by standing by her convictions and values. It was impossible for her to watch violation of any helpless persons rights as a mere spectator. She always acted to support the week. She was a fine human being and a great human-rights lawyer. She was passionate and committed to her values.

She was born on 13th July in 1971 in Sangareddy and studied there till graduation. She chose law as a career with a clear vision and a specific purpose – to defend the week and helpless i.e. children and women. She became a lawyer in 1994. She worked in Hyderabad City Civil Court. She was always a lawyer and also a strong human rights activist. Fighting to defend the week came to her naturally.

Vanaja was an exceptional human being and all those who came to know her felt proud of knowing her.

All are welcome.
