Reflections on Budget 2021
1.5 hrs
February 06, 2021 7:00 pm Saturday

This is an ONLINE event.

Given the excruciatingly painful period that the year 2020-21 has been, most of us have been looking forward to the Budget Speech 2021 from Nirmala Sitharaman to give us confidence and hope. While the initial responses about the immediate mood has already come in, we will now hear from two of our old friends at Lamakan- economists Vamsi Vakulabharanam and Sripad Motiram, both professors in the University of Massachusettes. Professors Vakulabharanam and Motiram will share their insights on the budget from the point of view of agriculture and health respectively and answer questions from the audience.
