MARAASIM: Sameer Rahat’s Urdu Blues Music, Poetry & Legacy of Rahat Indori.

Sameer Rahat is a Film/Music Composer, Performer, and Lyricist/Poet based out of Mumbai. He also plays his own brand of Urdu-blues music, experimenting with the poetry of contemporary and progressive Urdu poets from the Indian subcontinent. His debut album Aamad has gotten rave reviews and has received critical acclaim from various publications. As part of Maraasim, he will be singing solo Urdu blues and talking about the legacy of Rahat Indori sahab’s poetry.
