Chhayanat (Kolkata), a cultural organisation based in Kolkata, predominantly aims at expanding the creations of Kazi Nazrul Islam through songs, recitation and dance. Almost 1000 members all over India. It has organised more than 500 programmes in the number of auditoriums in Kolkata, namely ICCR, Birla academy of art & culture, Rabindra Okakura Bhaban and so on. Chhayanat organises 'Baithaki adda' once in a month where the members of Chhayanat perform different types of Bengali songs. Chhayanat organised 'Nazrul Sammelan' at Lamakaan before.
