Advanced Theatre Workshop by Samahaara
After the tremendous success of the Samahaara's Weekend Theatre Workshops, it is time for our Advanced Theatre Workshop. Conducted by our workshop director and co-founder Rathna Shekar Reddy, it is two whole days (21st September Saturday and 22nd September Sunday, 10 AM to 5 PM) of Advanced Theatre knowledge, theory and practice.
Meant for slightly experienced participants, it is ideal for those who have taken at least one workshop before or had some kind of training, worked in one or more plays and are now looking to further their theatrical skills. Learn how to put a production together from working on a script, casting, staging, scenography, acting, costuming, directing and production.
Participants will further their skills in acting, play making, and scene analysis, as well as understanding the full process of creating theatre. Advanced Theatre Workshop is an in-depth, multi-leveled study of skills and techniques that will cover both performance and stagecraft. These will include advanced acting, advanced improv, theatre history, the difference between acting for stage and acting for the camera, Shakespeare, ensemble acting, scenery construction, sound and stage management.
