Rubaroo is a youth development organisation based in Hyderabad since 2014. Rubaroo engages young people in issues of social justice by bringing them ‘face to face’ realities around them. It is an empowering space co-created by youth to understand themselves better, nurture relationships, engage with social issues, and take action in society to become socially conscious leaders in their own capacity. Rubaroo works on issues of Gender, Interfaith, and Youth Development in educational spaces -within schools and colleges, connecting classroom learning with contextual realities. Rubaroo has conducted multiple events in Lamakaan previously, the most recent one being on May 5th - a panel discussion on youth aspirations.
