To highlight the higher purpose of education, Silver Oaks has been focusing on an inside out approach where character first and competence next have been the priorities.

While the society out there is in turmoil, a school cannot be oblivious to that . If there is fire out there, the young people need to learn how to douse the fire.

A value generative society is what we significantly need now. With this compelling need, School instantly connected to the timeless and universal tenets of Mahatma Gandhi- the father of our nation.

Silver Oaks derived five mantras from the teachings of Mahatma- Swadharma, Satyagraha, Swaraj, Sarvodaya and Swades

Since then, 2000 young people and 4000 members of their families, 200 team members and nearly 1000 members of their families, have been trying to comprehend and relate to these mantras in the times and contexts they are living in.

The school has been striving to show the usefulness of these mantras to all age groups through culture, events , processes and policies.

With so many people trying, deliberating and chanting the five mantras, we felt that we need to go beyond the school community to spread our message of values, harmony and universal welfare which we derived from Gandhian philosophy.

As a school we are standing by our Swadharma, with Swaraj in our thoughts, Sarvodaya in our actions, respecting Satyagraha we are grooming contributors to build our Swades.

In 2013, we have written a book on Mantras of Mahatma.

We request you to accommodate a space and 20 minutes of your time for our students to give the message of Gandhism in the present day context through the form of 'nukkad natak'- street play

There will be 20 of them escorted by a teacher and distribute resolution cards.

Looking forward to your positive response

As a school it is our Swadharma 'to groom contributors to the society, not just consumers' Entry - Free
