Daayra : Those Who Saw & Stood
Workshop
2.5 hrs
January 25, 2025 4:00 pm Saturday
Daayra is a space that holds the untold stories of those who have experienced and are living, respectively stories of sexual abuse. It is a circle of empathy and shared strength, where the unseen impacts of witnessing and supporting loved ones are acknowledged.
This edition of Daayra focuses on stories of those who have stood beside survivors of sexual abuse — mothers, fathers, siblings, friends, partners, and more ; creating a safe, reflective environment for these individuals to share their experiences, process their emotions, and connect with others who understand their journey. Together, we break the silence and foster healing, not just for survivors, but for the support systems that surround them.
