A fun, interactive 3 day FREE workshop for anyone interested in learning more about languages and creative writing. Whether you are a seasoned translator or someone who simply enjoys reading and engaging other cultures, this workshop will expose you to poems and very short stories translated from other languages, help you develop your sensitivity to language through reading and writing activities, and open up your creative energy. We will look at and translate (yes!) works from Polish, Chinese, French, Spanish, Hindi/Urdu, Telugu and more! Note: the workshop will be conducted in English but you do not need to have several languages or experience in translation to attend. Come prepared to read, write, share and enjoy.
