Men Against Violence and Abuse (MAVA), India's first voluntary organization of sensitive and concerned men, has been working for the past 32 years on issues of gender-based discrimination and violence, by using out-of-the box methods like experimental theatre, advocacy campaigns on social media and travelling film festivals. Led by Harish Sadani, a pioneer in the space of Gender and Masculinities, and Social Justice in India, the organization has been deepening its impact by building a pool of male facilitators and communicators across India.
