Stop. Rest. Reclaim. Doing Nothing is an initiative that challenges the culture of toxic productivity by reclaiming rest as a human right, a mental health necessity and a political act. To creates safe spaces like Stillness Circles and group discussions where people can pause, breathe, and reflect together without guilt or pressure. The initiative highlights that rest is not laziness, but healing, care, and resistance against systems that exploits our time and energy. By normalizing doing nothing, it seeks to build a culture that values balance, well-being, and human dignity.

Hi, I'm Shaheed Mohammed, a psychology student passionate
about mental health, community well-being, and cultural
change. Through my initiative Stop. Rest. Reclaim. , I've
been exploring how rest, reflection, and even doing
nothing can be powerful tools for healing and resistance.
The aim is to create spaces in our community and
workplace where people can pause, breathe, and reclaim
their time and dignity. I see rest not as laziness, but
as care, strength, and political power — and I want to
help normalize that as a shared practice in our culture.
